Thanks to a “factory-on-wheels” technology our wines are “bag-in-boxed” directly at the estates where they are made. We manage the complete manufacturing and selling process , from the wine producer to the consumer.
This new wine room concept has its origins in an official French report according to which 30 millions French claim to be wine lovers but only 3 millions of them have wine on a daily basis. Most of French people would rather not have wine at all, than open a bottle and not finish it.
In view of this fact, the founders of VINOMANIA have made a bold choice : put forward an innovative packaging called Bag-In-Box (BIB)* . The challenge was to modernize this cubic container by filling it with very prestigious French wines from châteaux and domaines labelled Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (A.O.C.) which were traditionally sold in glass bottles. Until recently, the only “box wines” that one would find were the downmarket vin de pays or vin de table.
Thanks to this packaging the native aromas of wine are perfectly preserved from air and light. Our objective is to allow everybody to taste a pure wine unspoiled by cork taint or oxidation.
The Vinomania wine room offers an UNIQUE selection of upscale French wines. Among more than 700 French vineyard estates we have carefully chosen a range of no less than 60 wines, all available for retail sale or “by the glass” in our boutique. We endeavour to maintain this attention to quality, in order to bring you a finer and more diversified assortment.

* Unlike the Cubitainer (not sealed hermetically), the Bag-In-Box technology, which is a result of NASA spatial research, prevents oxidation by light and especially air. Thanks to a nitrogen-based procedure, air is completely vacuumed from the bladder. The wine is not subject to cork taint or oxidation and preserves its initial flavours several months after opening.
